Privacy policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Short version: without an account, your tasks never leave your iPhone. With one, they sync through our server so your devices and teammates can see them. No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.

Who we are

Chitly is made by Sarvar Juraev, [Country] (“we”). Questions about this policy go to support@chitly.app.

Without an account

Your lists, tasks, steps, reminders and attachments are stored on your iPhone only. We never receive them.

Reminders and the morning summary are scheduled on the phone. Siri, Spotlight and widgets are handled by iOS on the device; with the app lock on, Chitly keeps its tasks out of search.

The app lock’s PIN never leaves the phone: only a salted hash of it is kept in the iPhone’s Keychain.

With an account

Signing in with Apple or Google gives us an account id, your email address and the name you share. Teammates see that name.

Your lists, tasks, steps and attachments are then copied to our server so your devices and teams stay in step. The server runs on Supabase, in [server region].

In a team, its members see the team’s lists and tasks, who did what (the Inbox), and each other’s names.

Attachments are removed from the phone and the server 24 hours after their task is done.

What we never do

No ads, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing your data. We don’t read your tasks.

Keeping and deleting

We keep account data while the account exists. Delete it in Settings, then Account, then Delete account: your lists, tasks and files are deleted from the server and from the phone. Leaving a team removes you from it; the team keeps its own tasks.

You can export every list, task and step as CSV or JSON at any time from Settings.

Children

Chitly isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Important changes are also announced in the app.
